(Waitrose Rounabout)
In 2014 Muller Homes applied to develop the parcel of land on Fields Farm, adjacent to Waitrose roundabout. Originally this comprised of a Care Home, Retail Outlets, Petrol station and houses.
In 2024 Muller sold the plot to Anwyl Homes, and the development now comprises 203 homes (the other items having been removed).
Whilst this development has been fully approved, there remain a number of concerns over the volume of traffic both on the Waitrose roundabout and the junction with the Hill.

The concerns will be increased with the developments planned across the town but in particular on the Heath.
